Der Rockrabauke der 80er, Billy Idol, genoss sichtlich die Stimmung auf der Festivalwiese unterhalb der Burg Clam. Leider dürften die Nachmittagsgewitter einige Fans verschreckt haben, denn der bald 57jährige hätte sich weit mehr Zuseher verdient. Sein bekannter Mix aus Rock und Punk, sein begnadeter Gitarrist Steve Stevens und seine All-Time-High-Evergreens wie "Sweet Sixteen", „Catch my Fall“, „White Wedding“ oder "Flesh for Fantasy" sind einfach genauso kultig und zeitlos, wie sein unbändiges Grinsen mit verzerrtem Mundwinkel. Als Support rockte die nordirische Band Therapy? mit fetten Gitarrenriffs die Meierhofwiese. Ein weiteres Highlight war einmal mehr die Burgschenke, wo die Gäste mit Ciabatta, Bosner und Grafenweckerl und frisch gezapftem Stiegl im lauschigen Garten verwöhnt wurden.

Weiters am Programm des Festivalsommers 2012 stehen am 15.7. Der Watzmann, am 26.7. James Morrison, am 27.7. Silbermond und am 3.8. das leider restlos ausverkaufte Brenna Tuats-Tourkonzert mit Hubert von Goisern!
